Taye Uhuru has a rich background in black history, African travel, as well as roots in the arts of music and culture. He is a historian, genealogist, student of middle childhood education, and independent hip-hop artist. He has recorded and performed with musicians in the Netherlands, South Africa, Senegal, and several other countries. During his travels to 50 plus countries, he has had the opportunity of studying abroad in the Dominican Republic and Brazil, volunteering at Orphanages and community centers, working with people who have developmental disabilities, and tutoring children. Taye participated in fundraisers, food drives and back-to-school give away's for people in need in Cleveland, Haiti, the Philippines, Cape Verde, and other countries.  The Afro Set Black Nationalist Party for Self Defense is his first book.     On his travels across the globe, he helps others in their journey to search for their missing lineage of ancestors and embrace their culture!
